Every year they announce these movies and I vow to see them. Afterwards I shake my head and want my two hours back. Mostly these movies are so "artsy" that they fail to make a connection with me, the viewer. So therefore, I (and when I say I, I mean my wife will make me watch the Oscar's, for the dresses) will watch the Oscars while bobbing in and out of sleep. ANd will keep my money and my time and leave the "high society" movies to the "high society."
